Creta Sky is a small family unit on the cliffs of Achlia, 15 km from Ierapetra and 5 km from Makrys Gialos, where the Libyan Sea meets the southern edge of Crete.
For more than twenty years the Hatzakis family has looked after guests on this quiet stretch of coast — six studio apartments that share a garden, a pool and one wide view of the sea. The three on the ground floor keep their traditional Cretan decoration; the three above have been modernly refurbished. All but two look straight out to the water.
There is no booking engine and no front desk to check in with — just a family who answer the phone themselves and make the best for their guests.
